Hello
It’s hard to believe how quickly time flies. It feels like my first term on Council has only just begun. We are now three years into this four-year term, and next week, Council will decide on the voting methods for the next municipal election, scheduled for October 26, 2026 (see the agenda below for details).
Moments like this remind me to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come, the challenges we are facing, and the important decisions that still lie ahead. While the election is still more than a year away, there’s plenty of work to be done in the meantime, and I remain focused on continuing to move our community forward.
To help residents stay informed, I’ve added a new page on my website dedicated to the 2026 Election, with helpful links whether you’re a voter or considering running for office.

Now, onto the regular round-up of news with lots of links if you want to read more.
