Thank you for your encouragement, offers of support, and promises to continue challenging me! I am confident that I made the right decision to run for re-election and continue serving this community. Together, we can make a difference!

People often ask me why I choose to put myself out there and commit to public service. I'll be honest with you: it's hard. There are many complex issues and difficult decisions to make. There are moments when the criticism is loud, and the support is quiet. I know that going in, and I am choosing it anyway. Sitting on the sidelines has never been an option for me.

So when people ask why I do it, my answer is simple: because this work matters.

Over the next few months, I'll be sharing how my three core principles - Conviction, Commitment, and Communication - will continue to guide my work and deliver meaningful results for our community.

Candidate Tracker

I have created a Candidate Tracker here to help residents easily find information about all declared candidates in one place. Linking publicly available social channels and media coverage will give voters a simple and neutral way to learn more about each candidate and make informed choices in the upcoming election.

The voter turnout in the Town of Erin in the last election in 2022 was 36%. We can do better!

Important Dates

Days to Election - 108

August 12: deadline for voters to register themselves through Elections Ontario. Any voters who need to register or update their information after this date must come to Town Hall in person to do so.
August 21 @ 2pm: Deadline to file nomination papers to run for office
September 22: All Candidates Meeting - Theatre @ Centre 2000 - hosted by the Erin Chamber of Commerce
September 24: Ballots start to be mailed to voters by Canada Post
October 15: Deadline to mail ballots to ensure they are received before the end of Voting Day
October 26 @ 8pm: Election Day - deadline to drop off ballots at Town Hall
